Ingredients
- 2 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 2 1/2 pounds ground pork
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/3 cup tomato paste
- 2 1/2 ounces chopped galic
- 1 dash Tabasco sauce
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 5 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons chopped basil
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 4 1/2 ounces Plain bread crumbs
- 8 ounces Parmesan cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
Using a mixer on slow speed, combine all the ingredients except the cheese and bread crumbs. Mix well for approximately 3 minutes.
Continue on slow speed and add the bread crumbs and cheese, a little at a time until fully incorporated. Do not overmix.
Take 2 ounces of the mixture (approximately 1/4 cup) and roll it into a ball. Repeat until you have used up all of the mixture. place the meatballs in a single layer on shallow baking pans.
Bake at 325 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Drain and discard the pan drippings. Let cool.
Reheat in tomato sauce (see recipe)
