Ingredients
- 2.5-3 lbs or 8-10 chicken breast
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 8 oz sour cream
- 1/4-1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp + poppy seeds
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 - 2 sleeves ritz crackers; crushed
- 1 1/2 stick margarine; melted
Preparation
Step 1
Season chicken with celery, onion, seasoning slat, black pepper, & garlic. Cook until tender. Remove from oven; let stand and cool. Chop chicken. Mix soup, sour cream, & broth. Fold in chicken, poppy seeds, salt & pepper to taste. Adjust if needed. Pour into a large caserole dish; top with crackers and melted margarine. Bake at 300-325 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
