Ingredients
- 3/4 lb chicken, boneless & cut in pieces
- 4 oz boiled ham, cut in pieces
- 2 T butter or margarine
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup water
- 2 T dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 pkg (10oz) frozen broccoli cuts or asparagus
- 1 1/2 cups dry Minute rice
- wedges or cubes of cheddar and/or swiss cheese.

Step 1
STOVE TOP
Saute chicken & ham in butter until chicken is browned lightly - about 5 minutes.
Add soup, water and mustard.
Add vegetable.
Boil.
Stir in rice. Top with cheese.
Cover & remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes.
MICROWAVE
Omit butter. Increase water to 1 3/4 cups.
Combine chicken & ham in microwave safe dish. Cover & cook on high 4 mintues. (be sure chicken cooks completely - or cook prior to microwave)
Stir in remaining ingredients, except cheese.
Cover & cook 5 minutes.
Stir.
Cover & cook 2-5.
Top with cheese. Cover & let stand 5 minutes.
