Ingredients
- 700 g ground pork
- 350 g Ground Veal
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup Homogenized milk
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 red onion chopped finely
- 3 cloves garlic chopped finely
- 1 tbsp each oregano and thyme chopped
- 1 litre of tomato sauce.
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350c. Mix all ingredients except tomato sauce and form into balls. Place in roaster. pour sauce over balls and cover with lid or tinfoil. Bake for 1 hour.
Serve with pine nuts and grated pecorino romano cheese sprinkled on top. Serves 4-6.
