Ingredients
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- Lasagna noodles
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- For the sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Dash of freshly ground white pepper
- Freshly grated nutmeg

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 180 degrees C
Brown ground beef and drain.
Make the Béchamel sauce
Place butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat; cook until butter melts, stirring occasionally. Add onion to pan; cook 10 minutes or until tender (do not brown), stirring occasionally. Sprinkle flour over onion; cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Gradually add milk to flour mixture, stirring with a whisk until smooth; bring to a simmer. Simmer 10 minutes or until thickened, stirring frequently.
Stir in salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Spoon 1 Cup spaghetti sauce in bottom of 4 quart crock pot.
Mix remaining sauce with beef.
Place 2 uncooked lasagna noodles on sauce in crock pot.
Spread 1/3 meat mixture on top of noodles.
Spread 3/4 Cup Béchamel sauce over meat.
Sprinkle 1/2 Cup mozzarella cheese over Béchamel sauce.
Add another layer of uncooked noodles, 1/3 meat mixture, the remaining Béchamel sauce and 1/2 Cup mozzarella cheese.
Place another layer of uncooked noodles, meat mixture, and mozzarella cheese.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top.
Cook for 35 mins.
