COFFEE-Salted Caramel Mocha

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) Silk Chocolate soy beverage or Dark Chocolate almond beverage
  • 1-2 shots espresso (or 2-4 Tbsp [30-60 ml] strong black coffee)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml) caramel flavoured syrup,* divided
  • Regular or non-dairy whipped cream
  • 1/8 tsp (1/2 ml) sea salt for garnish

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine Silk, espresso (or coffee), salt and 1 Tbsp (15 ml) caramel syrup in a saucepan and heat just until warm.

2. Remove from heat and pour into a warm mug.

3. Top with whipped cream, remaining caramel syrup and sea salt.

NOTE: For a spirited drink, add 1 oz (30 ml) vanilla vodka.
