Strawberry Jello Pretzel Salad

Ingredients
- 2 cups crushed thin prezels
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 package (8 oz.) cool whip
- 1 large package (6 oz.) strawberry jello
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 (10 oz. ea.) packages frozen strawberries
- 1 small can crushed pineapple

Step 1
Combine crushed pretzels, sugar and butter. Spread over bottom of 9 x 13 dish and bake 7 minutes at 400 degrees. Cool 1 hour. Blend cream cheese, sugar and cool whip and spread over pretzel mixture. Cool. Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add strawberries and pineapple. Chill until partially jelled. Pour over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate.
Note: Fresh strawberries may be used. Add 1 cup cold water to jello after dissolving in boiling water.
