Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- Frosting
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cups butter, softened
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3-4 tbsp. milk
- food color
Preparation
Step 1
cookies,
mix all ingredients at medium speed for 3-4 minutes. Refrigerate for 2 hrs. or until firm. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Roll out dough on floured surface to 1/4" thick. Cut w/cookie cutters. Place on greased and floured sheets for 6-10 minutes. cool and frost.
