Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 c. cooking oil
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 1/2 c. Chopped walnuts
  • 4 drops each green and red food coloring
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar maraschino cherries drained and chopped
  • 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate melted

Preparation

Step 1

In large bowl beat together cake mix, eggs, sour cream, oil and pudding. Beat for 2 minutes.
Divide into 3 bowls.
Bowl 1 Add nuts and green food coloring
Bowl 2 Add cherries and red food coloring
Bow 3 Add chocolate and almond extract

Grease a Bundt or tube pan well. Pour 1, then 2, then 3. Do not swirl!

Bake at 350 for about an hour. Cool in pan for 10 min. Remove from pan, cool completely. Sprinkle with confectionary sugar or chocolate glaze. (Chocolate glaze is best  )
