French Toast Vanilla

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • challah bread or french bread loaf
  • 1 T butter

Preparation

Step 1

butter a nonstick griddle and heat to 350 degrees or melt butter in nonstick skillet over med-high heat.

in a shallow dish, whisk eggs,milk,vanilla,salt.

cut one loaf bread into 3/4 inch thick slices

dip into egg mixture, flip over, gently press into liquid

lift slices, transfer to griddle. cook 2 minutes,until bottom is browned. flip over, cook 2 min.
