BROWNIE PIE A LA MODE

Ingredients

• 1/2 CUP SUGAR
• 2 TBSP BUTTER
• 2 TBSP WATER
• 1 1/3 CUPS CHOC CHIPS
• 2 EGGS
• 2/3 CUP FLOUR
• 1/4 TSP BAKING SODA
• 1/4 TSP SALT
• 1 TSP VANILLA
• FUDGE SAUCE
• ICE CREAM, ANY FLAVOR

Preparation

Step 1

oven 350* grease 9 in pie plate
combine sugar, butter and water in saucepan
cook over med heat just til mix comes to boil, remove from heat
immediately add choc chips, stir til melted
add eggs, beat with spoon til well blended
stir together flour, baking soda and salt
add to choc mix and stir
stir in vanilla
pour into pie plate
bake 25-30 min r til almost set
cool
prepare fudge sauce (below)
top with ice cream and sauce

FUDGE SUACE;
1 cup choc chips
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp. butter

combine all ingredients in microwave bowl
microwave on high for 1 minute
if necessary continue cook at 15 second intervals until melted
cool slightly
