Shortcut Lasagne

Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1-1 pound 13 oz. can tomatoes
- 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 envelope spaghetti sauce mix
- 1/4 t. garlic salt
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 8 oz. pkg. sliced mozzarella cheese
- 8 oz. lasagne noodles, cooked according to pkg. directions
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Brown the ground beef; sppon off excess fat.
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce mix and the garlic salt
Bring mixture to boiling; simmer uncovered about 10 minutes.
Place half of the drained, rinsed noodles in a baking dish appox. 12x7 1/2x2.
Cover with 1/3 of the sauce. Add half of the mozzarella, then 1/2 c. cottage cheese.
Repeat layers with noodles, one-third of the sauce, mozzarella, 1/2 c. cottage cheese and end with sauce.
Top with 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake in a moderate oven 350 for 45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes. Cut into squares.
