Ingredients

    lb. hamburger

  • 1-1

    pound 13 oz. can tomatoes

  • 1

    8 oz. can tomato sauce

  • 1

    envelope spaghetti sauce mix

  • 1/4

    t. garlic salt

  • 1

    c. cottage cheese

  • 8 oz. pkg. sliced mozzarella cheese

  • 8

    oz. lasagne noodles, cooked according to pkg. directions

  • 1/2

    c. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Brown the ground beef; sppon off excess fat. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce mix and the garlic salt Bring mixture to boiling; simmer uncovered about 10 minutes. Place half of the drained, rinsed noodles in a baking dish appox. 12x7 1/2x2. Cover with 1/3 of the sauce. Add half of the mozzarella, then 1/2 c. cottage cheese. Repeat layers with noodles, one-third of the sauce, mozzarella, 1/2 c. cottage cheese and end with sauce. Top with 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese. Bake in a moderate oven 350 for 45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes. Cut into squares.
