Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1-one pound can tomatoes, broken up or pre-diced
- 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1-one pound can red kidney beans, drained
- 1 t. salt
- 1-2 t. chili powder
- 1 bay leaf
Preparation
Step 1
In heavy skillet cook meat, onion and green pepper till meat is lightly browned and vegetables are tender. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, salt, chili powder and bay leaf.
Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Remove bay leaf.
