Toffee

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter and brown sugar in 1 quart saucepan over medium heat. Bring to boil for 7 minutes. Butter 9 inch square pan and put pecans in bottom. Top with hot mixture and put chocolate chips on top and cover (to melt chocolate chips) spread chocolate on top and cut while hot.
