  • 12 lollipop sticks
  • 1 3/4 cup cake flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup cream cheese frosting
  • 2 cup white chocolate chips
  • food coloring and sprinkles of choice

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350˚F. Grease two 9-inch cake pans.

Sift flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt into a mixing bowl. Set aside.

In another bowl, whisk sugar and eggs until light. Stir in oil, melted chocolate chips and buttermilk.

Pour wet mixture into dry mixture. Pour batter in prepared pans and bake for 45 to 50 minutes.

Let cakes cool and then crumble in a bowl. Stir in frosting and mix well. Refrigerate mix for 15 minutes.

Line a baking sheet with wax paper.

Make 12 cake balls and pierce the top with lollipop stick. Refrigerate for another 15 minutes.

Melt white chocolate chips in microwave. Add in food coloring if desired. Dip each cake ball in melted white chocolate.

Let it sit for a few minutes and feel free to dip in sprinkles or other toppings
