Ingredients
- 4 C Flour
- 4 C Scalded Canned Milk
- (2 large & 1 small)
- 1 Tbs Salt
- 1 Tbs Crisco
Preparation
Step 1
Heat milk, shortening and salt to almost boiling. Pour over flour slowly, mixing well. Chill. Roll out on a well floured surface with a well floured rolling pin and bake on medium heat on ungreased griddle.
Tips:
Take a spoonful of dough and roll it in the flour before rolling it out to size.
Use a rolling pin cover to avoid having to clean the dough out of the indentations if using a decorative rolling pin.
