Tia's Dog Food for kidney problems

This dog food is a low protein diet, specifically designed for dogs in early to late stages of kidney disease.

Ingredients

• 1/4 lb ground beef (not lean ground chuck)
• 2 cups cooked white rice without the salt
• 1 hard cooked egg, finely chopped
• 3 slices white bread, crumbled
• 1 tsp (5g) calcium carbonate
• Also add a balanced supplement (Pet Tinic) which fulfills the canine MDR for all vitamins and trace minerals

Preparation

Step 1

Cook the beef in a skillet, stirring until lightly brown. Stir in the remaining ingredients and mix well. The mixture is somewhat dry and can be improved by adding a little water (NO MILK) when serving/feeding

Keep covered in refrigerator. Yield is 1 1/4 lbs.

Feed a 5 lb. dog 1/4lb/day
