Ingredients

  • 8 Thin Beef slices (the slice is nearly 150 gm)
  • 1/4 cup Mustard
  • 2 Onions
  • 8-12 Thin Pastrami slices ( Turkish thinly sliced spiced meat)
  • 3 Tablespoons Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 3 cups Beef stock
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 Teaspoons starch
  • Salt & Pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Slice on onion & finely chop the other onion.

Spread Mustard, Pastrami , Onion slices on each slice of meat.

Sprinkle some Salt & Pepper.

Roll the meat & secure with a wooden or metal sticks or toothpicks.

In a Sauce pan add Oil & add the Beef rolls & fry them to brown them from each side.

Remove the rolls & add the chopped Onion to the frying Oil & stirr for few moments then add the Beef stock & Tomato paste & the meat rolls.

wait till the stock boils & reduce the heat & leave to simmer for 1-1 1/2 hours till the meat is tender.

after the meat has been cooked , dissolve starch in milk & add it to the stock & wait till it reaches the boiling point & thickens then turn off the heat & add Salt & Pepper according to taste & serve.
