BREAD - PARMESAN HERB

Ingredients

  • 1 C. sour cream
  • 1/3 C. milk
  • 3 T. butter, melted
  • 2 1/2 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1 T. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 C. grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 T. minced onion seasoning
  • 2 tsp. Italian Seasoning
  • 1 egg white, slightly beaten
  • Additional parmesan cheese and italian seasoning

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, combine sour cream, milk and butter; set aside.

2. In a large bowl, combine next 7 ingredients. Stir in sour cream mixture until moistened. Place dough onto lightly floured surface; knead until smooth, about 1 minute.

3. Divide dough into two round loaves. Place loves on greased cookie sheet. Brush tops of loaves with egg white; sprinkle with additional parmesan and Italian seasoning. Cut an X about 1/2 inch through top of each loaf.

4. Bake 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
