  • 6 potatoes, peeled and cut into bite-size pieces
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 carrot, peeled and sliced
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 4 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 5 cups water
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 13 oz. can evaporated milk



Step 1

Put all ingredients except evaporated milk into crock pot. Cover and cook on Low 10-2 hours or High 3-4 hours. Stir in evaporated milk during last hour. If desired, mash potatoes with masher before serving.
To thicken: use flour and water. Add Ham & Bacon.
