Ingredients

  • 1 large can of tomato puree or crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 c finely chopped onion
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme
  • 2 cups of cream
  • 1 T butter
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c chicken stock

Preparation

Step 1

. Saute onion, stir in seasonings, add tomato puree, chicken stock and cook together for 20 minutes, blend soup in a blender until smooth

. Add in cream and baking soda, cook for another 10 minutes
