Puff Pastry Wrapped Chocolate Bars

Ingredients

  • Thawed frozen puff pastry
  • chocolate bars
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbs water

Preparation

Step 1

1. Unfold thawed frozen puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut into pieces just large enough to wrap around chocolate with 1/2 inch overlap. Wrap, moisten the edge with water and pinch to seal.

2. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet, seam-side down. Whisk egg with water; brush on the pastry and freeze until firm, bout 20 minutes.

3. Preheat the oven to 400 F. Bake until the pastry is puffed and golden, 20 to 25 minutes.
