Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup peter pan crunchy peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups sifted all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation
Step 1
Thoroughly cream shortening, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in peanut butter. Sift dry ingredients; stir into creamed mixture.
Drop by rounded teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Press with back of floured fork to make crisscrosses.
Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) abut 10 minutes makes about 5 dozen cookies
