Ingredients

  • 1

    lb. meatloaf mix, beef and pork

  • 1/2

    cup finely chopped sweet onion

  • 1/2

    cup Quick Oats

  • 1

    beaten egg

  • 1

    8oz. can tomato sauce (no salt)

  • 1

    and 1/4 tsp. salt

  • 1/4

    tsp. black pepper

  • Topping:

  • 1/3

    cup of ketchup

  • 1

    Tbsp. yellow mustard

  • 2

    Tbsp. brown sugar

Directions

Pre-heat the oven to 375. Combine the first 7 ingredients in a large bowl, then mush well with your hands. Using your hands transfer the mixture into your loaf pan and spread it out evenly. Combine the 3 topping ingredients in a small bowl, and mix until smooth. Now evenly spread the topping mixture over the top of the loaf. Put the loaf in your pre-heated oven and bake for 1 hour. Make an extra serving of the topping to serve with the meatloaf too. Slice and serve with the extra topping.
