Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 3/4 cup wanuts
  • 1 can orange frosting

Step 1

Grease cookie sheets. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine dry ingredients; set aside. Cream shortening and sugar together. Add egg and pumpkin. Mix in dry ingredients. Fold in walnuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls on prepared sheets and bake for 15 minutes. Frost with orange frosting when cool.
