Asparagus and cheese casserole

  • 2 cups cooked, cut asparagus
  • 3 slices toasted bread, cubed
  • 3/4 c. shredded Velveeta cheese
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. melted butter

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Alternate layers of asparagus, bread and cheese, 1/2 at a time in greased casserole. Combine egg, milk, salt and pepper to taste in bowl. Pour over layers. Drizzle with butter. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until set.
