Ingredients
- Cake:
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 t. baking powder
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2/3 c. pecans, chopped
- 2 c. cake flour
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1 20 oz can crushed pineapple
- Frosting:
- 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
- 1 lb confectioner's sugar
- 1 stick butter, creamed
- nuts (optional)
- Directions:
- ●Combine cake ingredients and stir until well blended; do not use an electric mixer.
- ●Pour mixture into a 9 x 13 inch pan.
- ●Bake at 350 F. for 35 minutes. Cool before frosting.
- ●Mix together frosting ingredients and pour over cake.
