Stuffed Portabella Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 package of Knorr Pesto Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Place mushroom stems in food processor along with onion and garlic.

Scrape mushrooms out, place into hot oil and stir in onion and garlic.
Sautee a few minutes.

Add water, & pesto packet and simmer until mixture firms up.

Sprinkle cheese into mushrooms and place on a lightly greased cookie
sheet. Spoon in ingredients and sprinkle with more cheese. Bake for 25
minutes at 350 degrees.

Tip from Cindy: You can make variations with meat. I have used both
browned sausage and shrimp, added to sauteed ingredients.
