Spanish Rice

Ingredients

  • 4 cups instant rice
  • 2 tbs margarine
  • 2 cans chicken broth
  • 3 tbs minced garlic
  • 1 med jar of Picante sauce (mild)

Preparation

Step 1

In large skillet( I prefer cast iron) melt the margarine, add instant rice, over med to high heat lightly brown the rice, add chicken broth, minced garlic and picante sauce, bring to a boil, then cook on low heat until rice is soft. you can add water if needed.
