CLIFFORD ICE BOX TEA COOKIES

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 2 cups dk. browm sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. heaping b. soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 cup fine chopped English walnuts
• 3-1/2 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar add eggs beat well sift flour salt and baking soda 3 times add nuts with a dusting flour mixture to first mixtureadd rest of flour mixture and form into logs roll in wax paper and refridgerate over night slice 1/4 thick and put on ungreased cookie sheets bake 8 to 10 min
