Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground bison or camel
  • 1 large onion, chopped into small pieces
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped into small pieces
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 large sweet potato, cooked and smashed
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 can undiluted tomato soup
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp sage or savory or both
  • 1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats (not instant)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Glaze
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp mustard

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Mix everything adding meat and oats last. Place in casserole; shape into loafs.

Mix glace ingredients and pour over loafs.

Bake in the center of the oven for 70-80 minutes.
