Ingredients
- 1 # carrots, cut into 1/2" slices
- 3/4 c mayonnaise
- 1/3 c water
- 2 Tbsp minced onion
- 1 Tbsp prepared horseradish
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 c dry bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Place carrots in a saucepan; cover with water, bring to a boil. Cover and cook for 5-8" or until tender, drain. Place carrots in a greased 1-qt baking dish.
In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, water, onion, horseradish and pepper. Spoon over carrots. Toss bread crumbs and melted butter; sprinkle over top.
Bake uncovered, at 350 for 25-30" or until the topping is golden brown. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 2-3" longer or until cheese is melted.
