Emeril's Essence

This basic spice mixture is used in many of Emeril Lagasse's famous recipes. Mix some up and keep it on hand to add a little kick to any dish.

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 tlbs paprika
• 2 tlbs salt
• 2 tlbs garlic powder
• 1 tlbs black pepper
• 1 tlbs onion powder
• 1 tlbs ayenne
• 1 tlbs dried oreano
• 1 tlbs dried thyme

Preparation

Step 1

In a small bow combine all the ingredients thoroughly. Store in airtight container.

Makes about 2/3 cup.
