Ingredients
- 8oz pkg cream cheese softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 9" unbaked pie shell
- 1 1/4 cups chopped pecans
- 1 cup caramel ice cream sauce
Preparation
Step 1
In a small bowl beat the cream cheese, sugar, 1 egg and vanilla until smooth. Spread in bottom of pie shell. Sprinkle with pecans. In a small bowl whisk the remaining eggs, gradually whisking in the caramel sauce until blended. Pour over pecans. Bake at 375 for 35 to 40 min or until lightly browned. If it seems it is browning too quickly loosely cover with foil after 20 min have gone by. Cool on a wire rack for 1 hour. Refrigerate overnight before cutting.
