Honey Garlic Little Smokies

Ingredients

  • 2 (16-ounce) packages old fashioned beef franks, drained and rinsed
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet over medium heat, combine ketchup, brown sugar, garlic, honey, soy sauce, ginger, Sriracha and sesame oil. Stir in beef franks.

Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until franks are thoroughly heated and plump, about 25-30 minutes.
