Basic Rub for Fish

This mix can be rubbed on either dry or oiled fish fillets - any cooking method except poaching is suggested.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp. black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. granulated garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp. celery salt
  • 1/2 tbsp. lemon pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp. ground ginger
  • 2 tbsp. crushed or powdered flavoring herb

Preparation

Step 1

Oil the fish, then rub the mixture onto the fish.
Sauté, steam or bake the fish.
Drizzle with an ounce or two of melted butter and serve.
