Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef cut into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • seasoning salt
  • put into sealable plastic bag and coat meat pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil in 2 1/2 or 3 quart pan
  • brown meat pieces
  • 1 meduim onion chopped
  • 5 small cloves or 2 large cloves of garlic
  • 2 stalk celery cut to 1" pieces
  • 2 tablespoons worchestershire sauce
  • add:
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 beef bouloun cubes
  • 2 bay leaves
  • add:
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 parsnip or parsley root
  • 2 med potatoes
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley
  • 2 cups tomatoes with juice
  • pinch of oregano (1/2 teaspoon fresh)
  • add:
  • small amount of worchestershire sauce
  • gravy master
  • 1 tablespoon flour
