Ingredients
- GLAZE:
- 1 1/2 Cups sugar, divided
- 1 Tb ground cinnamon
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/2-2 tsps. milk

Step 1
Combine 1/2 cup sugar (seems a little too much) and cinnamon, set aside. Combine flour, baking soa, salt and remaining sugar. Combine butterilk, egg and oil; stir into dry ingredients just util combined. Grease the bottom only of a 9" x 5" loaf pan. Pour half of the batter into pan; sprinkle with half of the icnnamon sugar mix. carefully spread with remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon sugar, swirl knife through batter. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until done in center. cool in pan 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. combine glaze ingredients; drizzle over bread.
