Sweet and Sour Sausage

  • 1 1/2 lbs sausage
  • 3 green peppers
  • 3 large onions
  • 1 can crushed pineapples
  • 1 small bottle bbq sauce
  • juice from pineapple
  • 2 tbsp. or more corn starch
  • (sauce needs to cling to sausage)
  • worcestershire and garlic powder to taste



Step 1

Steam sausage 20 to 30 minutes covered and cut into bite sized pieces.

Cut peppers and onions into large pieces and sauté till transparent.

Drain pineapple, keep liquid.

Mix ingredients and set aside.


Cook until thickened. Mix sausage and veggies and put into sauce.

Better if sets overnight.

Freezes well.

Serve hot.
