Ingredients
- 1/2 LB fresh crabmeat, drained & chopped
- 1/2 LB cream cheese, room temp
- 1/2 tsp A-1 sauce
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 2 1/2-3 doz won ton wrappers
- 1 egg yolk - well beaten
- oil for deep frying
- chinese mustard and/or sweet & sour sauce
Preparation
Step 1
combine crabmeat w/ cream cheese
& A-1 sauce, & garlic powder
blend to a paste
place heaping tsp on each won ton
gather 4 corners of won ton tog. at top
moisten edges w/ egg yolk & pinch or
or twist tog. gently to seal
heat oil in wok, deep fryer or electric
skillet to 375 degrees
add won tons in batches & fry until
golden brown - abt 3 min
remove w/ slotted spoon
drain on paper towels
serve hot w/ chinese mustard & sweet
& sour sauce for dipping
