Ingredients
- 1 pkg bacon, 1 lb, cooked, drained, crumbled
- 1 lb round loaf of bread
- 1 8 oz. cream cheese softened
- 1 16 oz sour cream
- 1 4 oz can green chilis, drained
- 6 green onions, chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Cut top off bread to form a cover. Remove bread inside loaf, leaving 1/2" shell of bread. Cut removed bread into 1" cubes.
Combine the cream cheese, sour cream, chilis and onions. Stir in bacon. Spoon mixture into bread and replace bread top. Wrap bread in heavy foil and bake 1 1/4 hours at 350 degrees. Serve bread with bread cubes for dipping.
