CREAMED BEEF (white sauce)

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbl. butter
  • 2 tbl. flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 2 cups milk (2% or whole)
  • 1 pd. beef or ground turkey
  • Toast

Preparation

Step 1

Cook beef or turkey until done, drain.

Heat butter in Medium sauce pan.

Blend in flour,salt and pepper, (mixture will become thick)

Cook until smooth and bubbly. (I add a little milk so it doesn't stick to pan)

Add milk a little at a time. Cook until creamy.

Add beef to white sauce, heat through.

Serve over toast.
