Cashew Crescents

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup finely chopped cashews
  • Powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease baking sheet.
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add egg yolk, stirring until smooth. Add flour and cashews and stir until dough forms.
Shape a tablespoon of dough into a crescent and place 1 inch apart on baking sheet.
Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from baking sheet and immediately sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Cool on rack.
