  • 2 medium onions
  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 2 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 10 ounces beef stock
  • 4 teaspoons Wandra or flour
  • 4 teaspoons cold water
  • salt and pepper

Step 1

Cook onions, oil and butter until soft. Add sugar and balsamic vinegar and bring to a boil. Add beef stock, water and Wandra and bring to a boil for 10 minutes.
