Pecan Tassies

Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 2 sticks butter-soft
  • 6 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 cups flour
  • Fillings:
  • 3 large eggs-beaten
  • 1 3/4 c brown sugar
  • 3 Tbs. butter-soft or melted
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup pecans coarsely chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Dough: Beat butter, cream cheese on medium until well combined. Beat in flour until blended. Shape dough into 1" thick disk. Refriderate at least 30 minutes until firm. Divide dough into 4 6" logs. Cut 1 log into 12 = pieces. Roll each piee into 3" rounds. Place in 24 mini muffin pans. Sprinkle pecans in each dough.

Filling: Beat first 5 ingredients until well mixed. Spoon 2 tsp into each muffin filled with pecans.

Bake 375' for 20 minutes.
