Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 2/3 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 pkg. milk chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped pecans (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together the butter and both sugars until fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, and the vanilla. Mix. Combine the dry ingredients and add to the sugar mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips and the nuts.

Drop on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven about 11 minutes.
