Hearty Sausage & Vegetable Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Turkey Italian sausage, castings removed.
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Onion
  • 2 (14.5 oz) cans Chicken Broth.
  • 1 (26oz or 26.5 oz) can Hunt's Chunky Vegetable Spaghetti Sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups Rotini pasta
  • 1 large Carrot, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup sliced Yellow Squash
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In a large saucepan, cook sausage and onion until sausage is no longer pink; stir in broth, spaghetti sauce an water.
Bring to boiling, stir in carrot, squash and pasta. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 15 minutes or until pasta is tender.
Sprinkle each serving with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
