Salted Potato Appetizer

  • 1 box of salt
  • small potatoes
  • sour cream
  • chives



Step 1

Add 3/4 of a box salt to a large pot of boiling water (Dutch oven size). Add small potatoes ( the smaller the better to be one or two bites) and boil until tender. Remove with slotted spoon to drain. Salt will crystallize on outside as they cool. Serve with sour cream/ chive dip
Caution- don't pour water down drain. Pour into container like you would grease. If you let it stand too long the salt will solidify in the bottom of the pot and is hard to remove
