Ingredients
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 cups oil
- 1 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup capers with juice
- 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 lbs. medium shrimp; cooked and peeled
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients excepts shrimp in a large bowl; mix well. Add shrimp. Cover and refrigerate for 6 hours or longer, stirring every hour or so. Drain shrimp, discarding marinade. Arrange shrimp on serving platter.
